Kiyoshi Resolves to not be bound by Resolutions
While meditating long and hard on the subject of my New Years resolutions, it occurred to me that my New Years resolution would be to have no resolutions. Such that, resolutions while devised to carry out positive results and make for improvement in our lives, can in effect work against our best interests.
Therefore, I have decreed that the New Years resolution for me and my subjects will be to not be bound by rigid resolutions.
By doing so, we will be adaptable and flexible in our day to day dealings, allowing us to change dynamically to lifes challenges and situations. We will be receptive to others differences and opinions and respect their right to those differences and opinions.
It is my intention to bend like the willow, to the winds of change, not stand rigid like the oak, inviting calamity. This occurred to me, as the mighty oak in our garden recently lost its largest appendage during the last wind storm. Meanwhile the more supple plants and trees appear unfazed as their boughs undulate with nature.
I resolve to keep my eyes and ears to the wind, only then will I have the appropriate information to act in everyones best interest. This is my procloamation influenced by Nature. HRH & SE, Kiyoshi-san.
